Golden Phoenix Restaurant

This will be my go to for Chinese food now! I just moved here and had a terrible experience with a different place the prior week where I had to throw all the food away.

Golden Phoenix has speedy delivery, the food was hot and most importantly delicious. I could taste and smell the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Textures were perfect: The outside of General Tsos chicken was crispy while the meat was tender. The sauce was a good consistency, not too thick, not too runny, and perfectly sweet and spicy. The cabbage in the egg roll tasted fresh, and my white rice was perfectly steamed. And as a native southerner I can say that the fried chicken is approved. I am very pleased.

Always has been our go-to Chinese Food restaurant. Excellent food and service!

Consistently Fresh and Delicious, very critical in this overcrowded field. I am concerned however, that the Seamless app and the restaurant are not on the same page. A couple of times I had to call after theyve substantially exceeded their delivery estimate only to find out they havent even started my order. Hope they resolve this little yet problematic issue soon. Otherwise, they hold a monopoly on great Chinese food.

I cant believe the bad reviews based on the delivery guys customer service, the point is the food is great! Personally, I answer my door right away and barely say a word to the delivery guy, so its always all good. Way better than other Chinese food in this area. My go to for Bronx.
